Ashtons Removals was a founding member and is still a current member of AFRA. AFRA is the association behind the removal industry. Members must lodge a security bond, comply with a Code of Conduct and have approved vehicles, office and storage facilities. You are protected in many ways if you move with an AFRA member.

All of Ashtons Removals’ office staff are accredited representatives of our insurance providers, and we will provide you with a Financial Services Guide (FSG), Policy Wording and Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). You will also receive a personalised insurance certificate prior to your move.
Q. When moving interstate, will your goods be moved and stored in shipping containers and sent by the rail?
Ashtons Removals is part of a network who use large wooden boxes we call modules, to store and move your goods interstate by road. This way we have almost completely eliminated problems such as losses, damages and mould.
